The Gunung Sewu Group is an investment and management group of unconsolidated companies in Indonesia. The Group was established in the 1950s by its founder, Mr. Goh Swee Kee (Indonesian name: Mr. Dasuki Angkosubroto). Initially, the Group was engaged in the trading and distribution of staple commodities. By the 1960s, the Group had grown to become one of Indonesia's largest agricultural commodity traders. The Group diversified in the 1970s into the property, agribusiness and manufacturing sectors and subsequently into financial services and telecommunications.

One of our business units, PT. Umas Jaya Agrotama (UJA) is one of the largest tapioca starch procedures in Indonesia with an annual production capacity of 120.000 metric tons. The production facilities are located in Lampung, South Sumatra.

UJA exports up to 20% of its production to Asian countries such as Taiwan, China, and Japan. The remaining 80% is distributed for the domestic market with the brand name “Kodok” (or “Frog”).

Not only agribusiness and property are cleared, the field of insurance was held by the establishment in 2003 Sequislife. Other Investment that is, National Label a company in the field of labels, porcelain company also established in 1979 named Indo porcelain, Shoes product "Gino Mariani".

Professional service IT company emerged under the name PT. Pratesis. And a coal mining company followed up in 1997 under the name PT. Prima Baramutiara.
